A new investigation from Gamers Nexus, in partnership with Level1Techs and independent security researchers, reveals that LG smart TVs constantly scan Wi-Fi networks, record audio, and sample video content even when in standby or offline mode. Packet captures show the TVs logging nearby devices and uploading data, raising serious privacy concerns. The report tested retail LG OLED models.
