Uber invests $10M in Indian fleet operator Carrum at $168M valuation
Uber has invested $10 million in Carrum Mobility, an Indian fleet management startup that supplies vehicles and drivers for Uber Go, Premier, and Black tiers. The round values Carrum at about $168 million post-money, up from $63 million after Uber's earlier $7 million investment. Carrum owns about 5,100 vehicles across six Indian cities and is generating annualized revenue of about $45 million.
