JBL announced the Cove series, three Wi-Fi speakers that can be used individually, as stereo pairs, or in a whole-home system. The portable P1 and flagship X1 support Dolby Atmos, while all models are managed through the JBL One app.

The Cove series places JBL in direct competition with Sonos and Bose's Lifestyle Ultra speakers.
