Fractal launches Summit ATX case alongside Refine 2 chair and Radius liquid coolers
Fractal has announced three new products: the Summit ATX case (starting at $169.99) with wood-accented panels, tool-less access, and support for dual 360mm radiators; the Refine 2 gaming chair ($639.99) with updated lumbar support and 4D armrests; and the Radius AIO cooler line (240mm/360mm, $79.99–$99.99) with pre-installed Dynamic 3 fans and optional RGB control via Fractal's Adjust Pro platform. Lenovo unveils the Project AeroBlade concept laptop, a 14-inch ultra-thin device using Frore's AirJet solid-state cooling technology (piezoelectric membranes) instead of fans. It is less than 10mm thick and weighs under 1.8 pounds (830g), making it significantly thinner and lighter than current ThinkPad X1 Carbons. The solid-state cooling enables near-silent operation.

At IFA 2026, TechPowerUp got hands-on with the Acer Predator Atlas 7, a smaller sibling of the Atlas 8. It features a 7-inch 1080p 120Hz IPS display with VRR, powered by Intel Arc G3 or G3 Extreme processors with integrated Arc B370/B390 graphics. The device offers up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM, a 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, and dual-fan cooling. The 80 Wh battery and 2W speakers complete the package.
Hardware Unboxed Falls Victim to Melted RTX 5090 Power Connector as Cable Reaches 175°C
TechPowerUp reports that Hardware Unboxed experienced a melted 12V-2×6 power connector on an ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5090 paired with a be quiet! Dark Power 13 PSU. The cable reached 175°C under load, and a Thermal Grizzly WireView Pro revealed a severe current imbalance where one wire carried ~22A while others carried almost nothing. Damage was worse on the PSU side, with the cable fused inside the connector. The incident is not isolated, as multiple RTX 5090 connector melting cases have been reported even with undervolts and power limits.
